Safety Tips for Safe Riding: Watch the No-Zones. Never hang out in a vehicles blind spot or "No-Zone". When passing, get around the vehicle as quickly and safely as possible. Always wear a Helmet: Make sure that your helmet meets DOT standards. If it doesn't, replace it! Drive to Survive: Motorcycles are the smallest vehicles on the road. They provide no protection in a crash. Other drivers may not see you. Pay extra attention to your surroundings and ride cautiously and defensively. Check the bike and yourself: Conduct a safety inspection before each ride. The T-Clock inspection was created by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation use it as a memory and organization guide for a pre-ride safety check of a motorcycle. Each letter represents a particular inspection category, as follows:

      T - Tires and Wheels

      C - Controls
      L - Lights and Electrical
      O - Oil
      C - Chassis
      K - Kickstand

Wear proper riding gear to help reduce the severity of injury in case you go down. Watch your speed: Since motorcycles are the smallest vehicle on the road, they also accelerate the fastest. Adhere to the laws of the road. Watch your speed, especially around large trucks, bad weather or at night.
